Kasowitz Wins Verdict Against Public Accounting Firm

After a two-week trial in the Circuit Court for Fairfax County, Virginia, a seven-member jury found in favor of Kasowitz's client, Costa Brava Partnership, on its claim that Goodman & Company, a Norfolk-based public accounting firm, had aided and abetted a breach of fiduciary duty by Goodman´s client, Telos Corporation.  Costa Brava is a Boston-based investment fund, and Telos is a publicly-traded company and government contractor providing defense oriented IT services.  At trial, Costa Brava was represented by Kasowitz partners Daniel Fetterman, Andrew Glenn and Trevor Welch and associates Olga Fuentes and Christian Becker.
