Kasowitz Hosts Women’s Leadership Panel for Diverse Law Students

Kasowitz Benson Torres hosted a women’s panel discussion, “Leading from Wherever You Are,” for about two dozen diverse SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity) Law Fellows at the firm’s New York office on July 24, 2019.  The esteemed panel featured: Kasowitz associate Nefertiti J. Alexander; Katherine Currie, Litigation Counsel at American Express; Anahi Mendoza, SEO Law Fellow at Sponsors for Educational Opportunity; and moderator Domonique Worship, Associate Counsel, Global Partnerships at the National Basketball Association and a Personal, Professional and Leadership Development Coach and Consultant.

The panelists discussed their background, career highlights, and how to obtain and excel in leadership roles, including what it means to be a leader, how to define leadership goals, and the skills needed to be a successful leader.

The panel was organized by associate Nefertiti J. Alexander and the firm’s Professional Development & Diversity Office.
