Lyn R. Agre Named California Trailblazer by The Recorder

The Recorder has named Kasowitz Benson Torres partner Lyn R. Agre a California Trailblazer.  The annual listing spotlights California lawyers who have made significant marks on the practice, policy and technological advancements in their industry.

Ms. Agre is among the top female litigators in the country handling high-stakes commercial and white collar disputes, as well as internal investigations for major companies and prominent executives.  Ms. Agre’s recent representations include representing the former general counsel of a software company in a criminal jury trial stemming from a securities scandal that led to $9 billion in investor losses in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.  Ms. Agre’s client was acquitted on all charges.

Ms. Agre also spearheads the firm’s pro bono partnership with the Marin County Public Defender’s Office, through which Kasowitz attorneys handle criminal matters pro bono.
