Jay R. Deshmukh to Speak at Paragraph IV Disputes Conference

Kasowitz Benson Torres partner Jay R. Deshmukh will be a featured speaker on the panel “60 Minutes on Patents, Politics, Policies, and Pricing: Patent Listing Statutes, “Buy America” Policies and Executive Orders, and Recent Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA Amendments Transforming PIV Disputes,” as part of American Conference Institute’s 17th Annual Paragraph IV Disputes Conference.  Mr. Deshmukh, along with other leading intellectual property attorneys, will discuss how recent federal and state executive actions and legislation may impact the pharmaceutical industry, how to navigate state laws governing transparency in drug pricing, and the impact of pharmaceutical patent enforcement trends in the U.S. and around the world.
