Paul G. Williams

Paul G. Williams’ practice focuses on complex civil litigation, particularly commercial litigation, patent litigation, unfair competition litigation and international litigation.  He has handled effectively numerous complex commercial cases involving contractual disputes and business torts at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts.  Paul has successfully argued dispositive motions in cases involving breaches of contracts, fiduciary duties, conversion, fraud and other business torts, including in cases involving business divorces and the break-up of professional practices involving restrictive covenants.

Paul’s practice has concentrated on patent litigation and other intellectual property litigation at the trial and appellate levels.  Paul also has experience in bankruptcy litigation cases regarding fraudulent transfers.  Paul participated in multiple cases representing the Adelphia Recovery Trust in litigation arising from the fraudulent acts of the former majority owners of the Adelphia cable systems and those with whom they did business.

In addition, Paul previously served as General Counsel for Georgia Shakespeare Festival.

Paul also authored "Expert Evidence in the Eleventh Circuit," included in the Scientific Evidence Review.
