Kasowitz Obtains Preliminary Injunction for mGage Against Former Employees Violating Restrictive Covenants

On February 26, 2019, Judge Colleen McMahon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York entered a preliminary injunction order in favor of Kasowitz client mGage, LLC, a global mobile messaging company, enforcing restrictive covenants: enjoining former mGage employees from working for any competitor, including competitor Mobivity, Inc.; enjoining those former employees and a fifth mGage former employee from soliciting any employees, clients, suppliers, customers or business prospects of mGage or using mGage’s confidential or proprietary information; and enjoining Mobivity from utilizing the services of mGage’s former employees.
