Kasowitz Represents Starwood Property Trust in Sale of Prominent Houston Office Tower to Energy Firm

Kasowitz Benson Torres represented Starwood Property Trust, a leading diversified real estate finance company, in the sale of a 41-story office tower in Houston, Texas to Energy Transfer, owner and operator of one of the largest portfolios of energy assets in North America.  The sale of the 1.2 million square foot tower, formerly known as the Marathon Oil Tower, is one of Houston’s largest office transactions in recent years.
