American Lawyer Ranks Kasowitz among the Top 100 Law Firms for Pro Bono
The American Lawyer has ranked Kasowitz Benson Torres as one of the top 100 law firms in the country for pro bono work in its annual 2019 Pro Bono Scorecard. This year, Kasowitz climbed to No. 80 on the list, from a ranking of No. 101 last year. Kasowitz is also ranked No. 62 in the subcategory of average pro bono hours per attorney, an increase from No. 91 last year. Kasowitz’s award-winning pro bono program is headed by partner and Pro Bono Committee Chair David J. Abrams. Under his leadership, Kasowitz attorneys devoted approximately 14,000 hours to pro bono work in 2018, which averages approximately 53 pro bono hours per attorney.
