Darwin Huang Moderates Panel at Commercial Observer’s 2022 Future Forward Los Angeles Conference
Kasowitz Benson Torres partner Darwin Huang moderated a panel discussion titled, “Financing Today’s Biggest Deals and Developments,” as part of Commercial Observer’s Future Forward Los Angeles, a forum for C-Suite leaders in commercial real estate-focused private equity and family offices. The event examined the future of commercial real estate in Los Angeles and winning market share. Mr. Huang, along with real estate industry titans Abbe Franchot Borok, Managing Director and Head of U.S. Debt, BentallGreenOak; Kyle Jeffers, Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Originations at ACORE Capital; and Jimmy Yung, Managing Director, Blackstone, discussed the difficulty in financing office transactions due to continued remote work environments, performance of different commercial asset classes, challenges for foreign investors in the U.S. market, and transaction and lending forecasts for 2023.
