Frawley participated in a panel discussion titled “Tax Issues in Divorce: The Impact of the 2017 Tax Act and What Clients Need to Know,” part of the 50th Annual Sidney Kess New York Estate, Tax, & Financial Planning Conference. Ms. Frawley, along with other leading practitioners, provided insight on tax and accounting issues impacting divorce, including what clients and their professionals need to know about the changes made by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and how they impact divorce planning and analysis, as well as the potential tax issues that should be considered before the divorce agreement is finalized.
