Michael A. Hanin Moderates Panel on Litigation and Arbitration Strategies at 2021 General Counsel Conference East
Kasowitz Benson Torres partner Michael A. Hanin moderated a panel discussion titled “Strategies for Determining the Right Time to Pursue Arbitration vs. Litigation” at Corporate Counsel’s General Counsel Conference East in New York City. Mr. Hanin, along with distinguished in-house counsel, discussed the pros and cons of litigating a dispute as opposed to handing the dispute in a confidential arbitration, the circumstances that influence the decision to include arbitration clauses in contracts, and issues surrounding choice of venue and selection of panelists in arbitrations.
