The National Law Journal Names Sheron Korpus Antitrust and Mergers & Acquisitions Trailblazer
The National Law Journal has named partner Sheron Korpus an “Antitrust and Mergers & Acquisitions Trailblazer.” Mr. Korpus has played a leading role in several of the nation’s game-changing antitrust disputes, including successfully defending cable operator Comcast at the Supreme Court in three class actions accusing Comcast of “clustering” in cable markets. Relying heavily on Mr. Korpus’ cross-examination of plaintiffs’ damages expert, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Comcast in a landmark 5-4 decision that overturned a lower court class certification and led to the dismissal of related cases.
The “Trailblazers” series honors individuals who have advanced their legal practice areas through the use of innovative strategies. The “Antitrust and Mergers & Acquisitions” list celebrates just 50 lawyers from throughout the country for exemplary achievements.
