Amit R. Vora Discusses ParkerVision’s High-Stakes Patent Case on Patently Strategic Podcast

Kasowitz Benson Torres partner Amit R. Vora was a featured guest on Patently Strategic, a patent focused podcast for inventors, founders and IP professionals, with hosts Josh Sloat and Dr. Ashley Sloat in the episode “The Battle for Dignity and Due Process.”  Mr. Vora, along with Jeffrey Parker, CEO of ParkerVision, and Juliette Fassett, board member of Fair Inventing and Founder/CEO of Happy Products Inc., discussed ParkerVision’s petition for certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court that challenges the Federal Circuit’s practice of issuing one-word affirmations under Rule 36 in Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) appeals.  They also discussed the importance of affording patent holders a judicial explanation for the deprivation of their property rights.
