Clarine Nardi Riddle Featured Speaker for US-Asia Institute’s Szymanski Rule of Law Program

The Hon. Clarine Nardi Riddle, Counsel at Kasowitz Benson Torres, was a featured speaker at US-Asia Institute’s Szymanski Rule of Law Program for Chinese Students.  Ms. Riddle spoke to law students from Tsinghua University School of Law and Peking University School of Transnational Law about the principles of the rule of law in the U.S. in addition to the roles and duties of the three branches of U.S. government.  Ms. Riddle also discussed the role of the political parties in the U.S. and the current presidential election.
 
The program took place on July 12, 2024 in Washington, D.C.
 
The Hon. Clarine Nardi Riddle, Counsel and chair of the Government Affairs and Strategic Counsel Practice Group in Kasowitz’s Washington, D.C. office, provides legal, strategic and policy advice to clients on matters at the intersection of law, business and public policy.  Formerly Attorney General of Connecticut, she also worked on virtually every major area of public policy as Senator Joseph Lieberman’s Chief of Staff.  She is the Chair of the Advisory Board of the Indiana University Mauer School of Law Center for Constitutional Democracy and is also on the Board of Trustees for the Center for Excellence in Education and for the Do The Write Thing Project of the National Campaign to Stop Violence.
