Nefertiti J. Alexander to Speak at PLI’s 2024 Addressing Domestic Violence Program
Kasowitz Benson Torres partner Nefertiti J. Alexander will be a featured speaker on the panel “Effective Advocacy for Incarcerated Domestic Violence Survivors in Parole Cases” as part of PLI’s “Addressing Domestic Violence 2024: Effective and Innovative Representation of Criminalized Survivors” program in New York City. Ms. Alexander, along with Ross Kramer, Director at Incarcerated Gender Violence Survivors Initiative, Sharon Richardson, Founder & Executive Director at Re-Entry Rocks, and Richard A. Rothman, Special Pro Bono Counsel at Weil Gotshal & Manges, will discuss best practices for understanding the impact of a client’s trauma when representing incarcerated survivors in parole cases.
