Webcast: Impact of COVID-19 on Real Estate and Hospitality Transactions and Projects

Kasowitz Benson Torres partner Jennifer McDougall will be the featured speakers on “COVID-19 and Force Majeure: Potential Impact on Transactions and Projects in Real Estate and Hospitality,” a one-hour briefing webcast hosted by Practising Law Institute. Ms. McDougall will discuss the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on construction projects and real estate transactions throughout the country. They will discuss the applicability of force majeure, impossibility, frustration of purpose and similar clauses and doctrines when businesses are unable to perform their contractual obligations, as well as the enforceability of term sheets and similar agreements in real estate and hospitality disputes.
