Webinar: COVID-19 and Force Majeure: Impact on Transactions and Projects in Real Estate and Hospitality

Kasowitz Benson Torres partner Jennifer McDougall will be the featured speaker on “COVID-19 and Force Majeure: Impact on Transactions and Projects in Real Estate and Hospitality,” a webinar hosted by legal education provider West LegalEdcenter.  Mr. O’Connor and Ms. McDougall will discuss potential business and contract disputes arising from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on construction projects and real estate transactions throughout the country.  They will also discuss the invocation and enforceability of force majeure, impossibility, and frustration of purpose clauses and legal doctrines when businesses are unable to perform their contractual obligations.
