Julie R. Fischer has represented corporations in a wide variety of complex class and individual actions in state and federal courts, with an emphasis on products liability. She is actively engaged in the defense of cigarette manufacturer Liggett Group, the fourth largest tobacco company in the United States, where her practice focuses on drafting and arguing substantial motions and appellate briefs. Additionally, as part of Liggett’s national counsel, she has advised local counsel on litigation strategy in hundreds of cases.
Julie also spent four years as an assistant district attorney in Kings County, where she tried criminal cases and argued appeals.
