Joshua E. Hollander

Joshua E. Hollander is a litigation partner in Kasowitz’s New York office.  He has over a decade of experience litigating high-stakes complex commercial, software and technology, real estate, securities and business tort cases throughout the country.  Josh has represented global corporations and high-net-worth individuals in all phases of litigation, from pre-complaint investigations through trial and appeal, on both the plaintiff and defense side.

A significant portion of Josh’s practice relates to software and technology litigation.  He actively represents companies and public entities in the recovery of damages arising out of failed implementations of enterprise resource planning (ERP) business software, and also represents technology clients in licensing disputes and trade secret misappropriation cases.

Josh was recognized by The American Lawyer Litigation Daily as a “Litigator of the Week” runner-up for securing a unanimous 5-0 decision from New York’s Appellate Division, First Department for an affiliate of The Georgetown Company, a leading diversified real estate company, affirming a trial court’s summary judgment decision that found construction firm J.T. Magen engaged in fraud related to a project at 787 Eleventh Avenue in Manhattan.  Josh briefed and argued the First Department appeal.  Josh has also been recognized by Best Lawyers on its Ones to Watch list.
